Photo of the Day: Reyes
Yes, I know Jose Reyes was the photo from the first game, but this shot was excellent.Reyes needed some huge ups to leap and catch a ball that Carlos Delgado seemingly airmailed to left field. I don't know how he got up and made that catch, but it made for an awesome photo.

Two things:Jose Reyes, I agree. The strike zone was miserable.
and
Doesn't Reyes look like a giant here? I found solace in that, at least.

David Wright and Jose Reyes were the stars of the show Friday night as they went 6-9, driving in three RBI and scoring four times. They hit two triples, two doubles, and a home run.
I think I'm going to name one of my children "Five" and the other one "Seven."

Photo of the Day: Delgado
Carlos Delgado celebrates after his first home run of the day. He went on to hit two solo home runs, going 2-2 with two walks, two RBI, and three runs scored.
I wouldn't say he's back yet, but today is a good sign. Hopefully he can parlay this off into a hot streak to get back into the groove of things.

Photo of the Day: Figueroa
Brooklyn boy Nelson Figueroa made his first start for the New York Mets, his favorite team as a child and the team that drafted him back in 1995.
What a story. The smile across his face at the end of the game was amazing. I'm so happy for him.

Photo of the Day: Reyes
Jose Reyes slides under the tag of Chris Coste as the Mets topped the Phillies 4-3 in 12 innings Thursday night.
It was a close call at the plate and I thought he got his hand in there, but I seem to be the only one besides the umpire. Doesn't matter what I think though. Good win.
