Poll Results: F-Mart deemed not ready by Mets fans

In my last poll, I asked Mets fans for their thoughts on Fernando Martinez.  Here are the results…

  1. Still needs seasoning – 72%
  2. Play him every day – 19%
  3. Major league ready – 5%
  4. Let him ride the pine – 3%

An overwhelming majority thinks Martinez still needs some time in the minor leagues to work on his game.  His .183 batting average and .256 OBP seems to highlight that thought.
